Eunoia Chapter II is an exclusive women’s retreat taking place from June 12-16, 2025, in Essaouira, Morocco, designed to foster deep connections, meaningful conversations, and personal growth among 12 women from around the world. Set in a private villa surrounded by lush botanical gardens, the retreat blends cultural immersion, thoughtful discussions, and joyous celebrations. Guests will enjoy curated experiences such as guided medina tours, a farm-to-table countryside meal, a sunset beach dinner, and optional activities like surfing, horseback riding, and camel riding. With a focus on art, culture, nature, and spirituality, the retreat includes participant-led sessions, nourishing meals, and elegant shared accommodations. A no-alcohol policy ensures mindful engagement, and an anonymous sponsorship fund allows for diverse participation. Hosted by experiential travel expert Sarah Casewit and connection facilitator Arjanna van der Plas, this unique gathering invites women to embrace synergy, self-expression, and empowerment in an inspiring setting.

Our private villa is in a lush botanical garden in Essaouira that harmoniously blends traditional Moroccan craftsmanship with modern comforts. With five beautifully appointed bedrooms, a private heated pool, and expansive terraces, it offers a serene retreat for our gathering.

Five ensuite bedrooms and a cozy living area create a perfect space to gather and connect. Each bedroom has a unique color palette inspired by Morocco’s natural tones, with thoughtful details throughout the home. The Home
The villa is set in a tranquil oasis in the hills overlooking Essaouira, offering a perfect blend of Moroccan charm and modern comfort. Surrounded by lush botanical gardens, it features elegantly designed suites, a private swimming pool, and intimate dining set-ups. With its traditional architecture and attentive service, the villa for Eunoia Chapter II provides a peaceful escape for our discussion circles and deep connections on a slice of paradise near Essaouira’s vibrant coastline.
Our ROOMS
The rooms in the villa are beautifully designed with chic Moroccan decor and feature en-sure bathrooms and beautiful views of the gardens and pool. Some offer private access to the terrace. The rooms are double and triple configuration with some offering twin beds. We’ll be sharing rooms and enjoying the company of like-spirited women on the retreat.
EXPERIENCES
Beyond the private sanctuary of our villa and our deep discussions, we’ll explore Essaouira’s vibrant port, historic ramparts, and winding medina, uncovering art galleries, boutiques, and the storied Jewish quarter. A visit to the countryside brings a farm-to-table experience, while the Atlantic beckons with surfing, horseback riding, or a sunset camel ride along the shore. Along the way, we’ll meet local artists and artisans, gaining insight into their craft and the soul of this enchanting coastal town.
Logistics
This retreat includes group transfers from Marrakech and Essaouira Airport depending on arrival and departure times. Essaouira does have an international airport with the following direct flight routes on limited days of the week:

Alternatively, if you cannot connect your destination to Essaouira, we recommend you fly into Marrakech Airport which is approximately 3 hours away from Essaouira. This transfer is included in the retreat on a group basis.

The key for an engaging and fruitful retreat is to gather a diverse group of women coming from different walks of life to bring in a variety of ideas, discussions and opinions, enriching the thought process and perspectives.
