Having grown up in Morocco and spent years traveling around the country looking for authentic experiences and stays, my love for The Memory Road says a lot about its quality and depth. This is a private, 7-day road trip from the outskirts of Agadir, to the abandoned village of Tizkmoudine, down to Tata and the Anti-Atlas, across the desert to Foum Lahcen for a nomadic camping experience and finally to the gates of the Sahara in an oasis near Guelmim.
